To break the bias and advocate for gender equality, it is imperative to start from the grassroots. This is because national development lies more on grassroots development.
At FASI Kaduna State, educating and sensitizing women and girls at local communities, presenting them with practical solutions to discrimination, gender-based violence and abuse is our priority.
This is why FASI Kaduna State Chapter visited PHC Maraban Jos Community to commemorate the International Women’s Day to educate them and present cash gift to every participant.
This gesture according to the team is to further empower women and to preach value to her, that she can be whoever she desires to be.
The event also featured discussion on skill acquisition, the importance of education especially for the girl child, personal development and building emotional intelligence
